CFL/LED Recycling Program

When your compact fluorescent light (CFL) burns out, it is important to properly dispose of the used bulb because of the tiny amounts of mercury they contain. Adams Electric has established a recycling program for CFL & LEDs at its offices. Residential members may drop off unbroken CFLs or LEDs that have been used for household purposes in exchange for up to five LED replacement bulbs. One LED will be exchanged for every two CFLs brought in for recycling. The limit per visit would be up to 10 CFLs for 5 LEDs.

We do not accept fluorescent or tube lighting of any kind.

*Due to increasing costs, this program will be discontinued at the end of 2026!*
