All memberships who have registered to be a volunteer for the cooperative are invited to an annual Member Engagement Group meeting (typically held in October) to provide community and member feedback, ideas and concerns related to cooperative promotions, policies, and initiatives.
Meetings may be held on-site or off-site at cooperative affiliate organizations or local member businesses. Adams Electric may provide transportation to off-site locations if they are outside the service territory. Time will be allotted to cover upcoming Adams Electric topics and promotions during each meeting, as well as Q&A with the co-op’s CEO. A meal may also be provided.
Programs for the committee include subjects of interest and concern to the cooperative as well as the committee members. The content of the meeting can be based on important issues or information that the members should know, the need to test a member or co-op related idea with a representative group of members, new technology, changes in rates or policies, or based upon a request from the committee itself.
