Three members of the Adams Electric Cooperative, Inc. board of directors recently renewed their Director Gold Certificate, for continued cooperative education from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).
The certificate program provides advanced learning opportunities to cooperative board members who have already completed NRECA’s Credentialed Cooperative Director Certificate (CCD) and Board Leadership Certificate (BLC). Those who achieved the renewal are Board Secretary Dan Eisenhart of Newville, Jay Grove of Shippensburg and F.L. Ray Schwartz of Fairfield.
To earn the certificate, board members must earn three approved continuing education credits by attending various director courses and conferences within a two-year period. After the gold certificate is achieved, directors must continue to earn three credits every two years in order to maintain the gold status.
