What is Co-op Owners?

Co-op Owners for Political Action (Co-op Owners) is a nonpartisan political action committee that gives consumer-members of electric cooperatives the opportunity to have their voices heard on issues affecting their co-op and their communities. Co-op Owners is a part of the Action Committee for Rural Electrification (ACRE), a political action committee that has collected contributions from co-op employees and directors across the nation since 1966.
